My name is Meegan Galante and I am a self-taught artist. Based in New York, I work mostly in oil paint and gouache. I have a desperation for creation and also dabble in other pursuits such as knitting, crocheting and designing clothes.
I have painted ever since I can remember. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to sell original pieces and do commissions. I have also done window paintings for local businesses. My style lies somewhere in the genre of magic realism with a focus on portraiture. I welcome you along in my journey through what I believe to be an unreal reality.
